Summer Camp Guide
This is a large publication that is mailed to every member of the local Girl Scout council. This project used a combination of typography, graphic design, and illustration. The Camp Director wanted a fun and colorful publication that kids and parents would both enjoy looking at. The publication was set up in Adobe InDesign.
Women in Space
Girl Scouts hosted astronaut Eileen Collins at a day-long event where members would learn about science and space. This booklet was part of a larger kit that the members received. This project required the curation of content as well as graphic design, illustration, and layout skills. The images of the astronauts were created in Adobe Illustrator, and the layout was created in Canva because of the easy access to clipart, and the collaborative capabilities for team members that did not use Adobe Creative Suite. Girl Cratery was a division of Girl Scout of NYPENN Pathways.
Honoring Our Heritage Program Book
This was a massive project that took several months to complete. A team of two of us worked on this project. My coworker was the liaison with the History and Archive committee for Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways. They provided some text based content but a large portion of the text had to be curated, as well as all of the imagery. The final project is a guide for current Girl Scout members to learn about the history of Girl Scouts. The project was created in Canva because of the collaborative capabilities for team members that did not use Adobe Creative Suite.
